Our Management Committee

The Management Committee is the heart of Kununurra Neighbourhood House, without them we don't exist!
It sounds dramatic but it's true!

As a not for profit organisation here to benefit our community it only makes sense that the people who use the house decide how it runs.

The role of the Management Committee:

  • Make the decisions about what KNH does and how we serve our community best
  • Oversee that the values and strategic scope of KNH are upheld
  • Employ our coordinators to oversee the day to day running of KNH
  • Organise and host fundraising/community events
  • Join in busy bees to maintain the building and grounds when needed
  • Attend monthly meetings to make decisions about KNH.

Just like other not for profit organisations, KNH strives to ensure all our practices are transparent from how we do things day to day through to how money is spent.

We always need new faces, fresh ideas, WE NEED YOU... please call us on 08 9168 1615, our Chairperson Rebecca Fisher will be happy to walk you through the process.

ALL committee meetings are child friendly, mum, dads, community members of all ages and diversities are encouraged to be part of making YOUR Neighbourhood House work for OUR community.
