Neighbourhood House provides a friendly, informal place where community members meet for a variety of activities at minimal cost.
Kununurra Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit community organisation. We are committed to providing emotional and practical support within our community by preventing isolation through the development of support groups, networks, education and information available to individuals and families.

Connecting and Supporting People and their Families
- Promote the wellbeing and care of families and individuals
- Promote and develop activities and programs and enable access to the Service to ensure all people within our community have equal opportunity regardless of race, creed, gender and colour.
- Establish programs in response to community needs.
- Seek to provide and maintain suitable grounds, buildings and equipment for such purposes.
- Raise aid or contribute in the raising of funds for the use and benefit of the Service for any purpose considered advantageous to these objectives.

As is the case for many north west towns, the population of Kununurra is transient making KNH's role in the community an important one, reducing isolation by assisting individuals and families as they adjust to the Kimberley lifestyle without the normal support networks.
